Educational Qualifications:

Project Planning Officer and Urban Management Specialist:-

  • Post Graduate degree in Construction Engineering and Management / Construction Management / Construction Project Management / Construction Technology and Management from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in construction projects in government / semi-government / autonomous organizations or urban local body / Public Sector Undertaking / private company of repute.
  • Experience in housing projects will be preferred.
  • Experience of working with state / central government organizations will be preferred.
  • Prior experience of working with World Bank/ADB and/or International Financial Institutions funded projects will be preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Tamil.
  • Good IT / Computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Ability to liaise and work effectively with government officials. Ability to work collaboratively with teams as a constructive team member.

Management Information System (MIS) Specialist:-

  • Post Graduate degree in Computer Science or MCA/PGDCA from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 7 years of post qualification experience in software development/project management/database management / MIS in government / semi-government / autonomous organizations or urban local body / Public Sector Undertaking / private company of repute.
  • Experience of working with state / central government organizations will be preferred.
  • Experience of working with the World Bank and/or International Financial Institutions funded projects will be preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Tamil.
  • Ability to interact with staff in the relevant implementing agencies of the Project.
  • Ability to work in a team and train staff to use the systems in the implementation of project activities.

Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist:-

  • Post Graduate Degree in Geography / Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics / GIS from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in GIS mapping / GIS data collection in government / semi-government / autonomous organizations or urban local body / Public Sector Undertaking / private company of repute.
  • Experience in the application of GIS and remote sensing in urban development/housing/ slum development projects/programs will be preferred.
  • Experience of working with state / central government organizations will be preferred.
  • Experience of working with the World Bank and/or International Financial Institutions funded projects will be preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Tamil.
  • Good IT / Computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to interact with staff in the relevant implementing agencies.
  • Ability to work in a team and train the staff.

Town Planning Specialist:-

  • Post Graduate degree in Town Planning / Urban Planning / Regional Planning with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture.
  • Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in urban planning or architecture in government / semi-government / autonomous organizations or urban local body / Public Sector Undertaking / private company of repute.
  • Experience of urban planning or architecture in urban development/housing/ slum development related projects/programs will be preferred.
  • Experience of working with state / central government organizations will be preferred.
  • Experience of working with the World Bank and/or International Financial Institutions funded projects will be preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Tamil.
  • Good IT / Computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to interact with staff in the relevant implementing agencies and planning approval authorities.
  • Ability to work in a team and train staff in Planning.

Planning Assistant:-

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering / Architecture from a recognized University.  
  • Minimum 3 years of post qualification experience in urban planning or architecture in government / semi-government / autonomous organizations or urban local body / Public Sector Undertaking / private company of repute.
  • Working knowledge in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture will be preferred.
  • Experience in urban planning or architecture in urban development/housing/ slum development related projects/programs will be preferred.
  • Experience in working with state / central government organizations will be preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Tamil.
  • Good IT / Computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to interact with staff in the relevant implementing agencies and planning approval authorities.
  • Ability to work in a team and complete the task.

Community Development Officer:-

  • Masters Degree in Social Work from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in social and community development activities in government / semi-government / autonomous organizations or urban local body/ Public Sector Undertaking / NGOs / CBOs / Private Company.
  • Experience in slum development or resettlement projects or working with community groups especially in the urban sector will be preferred.
  • Experience of working with state / central government organizations will be preferred.
  • Experience of working with the World Bank and/or International Financial Institutions funded projects will be preferred.
  • Good IT/computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Tamil.
  • Experience in participatory methods, social mobilization, social analysis, resettlement, and rehabilitation.
  • Ability to liaise and work effectively with government officials.

Animator:-

  • Minimum 12th Standard Pass.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social and community development activities / socioeconomic survey in government / semi-government / autonomous organizations or urban local body/ Public Sector Undertaking / NGOs / CBOs / Private Company.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in Tamil.
  • Experience in slum development or resettlement projects or working with community groups, especially in the urban sector will be preferred.
  • Experience of working with government organizations will be preferred. Candidates residing in Chennai will be preferred

Age limit(as on 01.01.2019):-

  • Maximum 45 years

Pay Scale:-

  • Project Planning Officer and Urban Management Specialist- 85,000/pm
  • Management Information System (MIS) Specialist- 85,000/pm
  • Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist-  85,000/pm
  • Town Planning Specialist (TPS)- 85,000/pm
  • Planning Assistant- 40,000/pm
  • Community Development Officer- 70,000/pm
  • Animator-11,000/pm
